Appointments

pills_for_girlConsultations are by appointment only.  Appointments can be made either in person at the Surgery or by contacting us by telephone 01704 877600

The practice operates an ‘Advanced Access’ system for doctor appointments, which allows patients to pre-book a proportion of appointments in advance if they wish to see a particular doctor, but also allows for patients to call and be seen by one of the doctors on the same day.

We also offer telephone consultations for occasions when a patient requires advice but does not need to be seen and/or examined by doctor.

When making an appointment with the practice nurse, the receptionist will ask for additional details, as some review appointments may require a longer appointment.  We may advise you by telephone when appointments are due.

Telephone Advice

The doctors and nurses are happy to give telephone advice where appropriate.  Please give your details to the receptionist who will be happy to arrange this for you etc.

Surgery Access

The Surgery has disabled access and facilities available for its patients.  Should patients require an interpreter then this can be organised by prior arrangement.  Please contact the receptionist or practice manager for this to be arranged. A minimum notice period applies of 48 hours for this service to be arranged.

All patients are welcome to be accompanied at their consultations with a friend or relative, and we also will arrange for chaperones at consultations at both clinical and patient instigation.  Due to Health and Safety Guidelines, animals are not permitted on the premises, other than those accompanying our patients who are vision impaired, or who have dogs to assist them with hearing impairment.
